ABSTRACT
Arabic is the language of the Arabs and at the same time the language of the Muslims.
Learning Arabic is very important because that’s where you can learn and understand
the Qur’an. According to the rules of Islamic law, understanding Arabic for those who
want to understand the Qur’an is fardlu’ain. In learning Arabic, words are divided
into three, namely Isim, Fi’il, and Hurf. Al -Kalim is a term for something that is
composed of 3 words (be it fi’il, isim, harf) or more, whether it is useful or not.
Sentences in Arabic are utterances that are structured so that the listener or
interlocutor can understand the meaning. The sentence is divided into three parts:
first, Isim, which is every word that shows the names of people, animals, plants,
objects, places, times, and characteristics that are not bound by time. Second, Fi’il,
which is a word that shows the occurrence of an event at a certain time. Third, Harf,
which is a word whose meaning cannot be understood unless it is juxtaposed with
other words.
